Summer already feels like a very long time ago. In my corner of the world, the temperatures are falling, the leaves are starting to drop and the kids have long been back in school. But let’s take a moment to pause and look back on the Confident Knitting projects we made this summer. Maybe it was your vacation/taycation knitting? Maybe you did it with a summery drink to hand? Maybe it distracted you from a heat wave, or jump-started your autumn wardrobe planning? It’s fair to say that, for our Confident Knitters, knitting really knows no season, and you all produced some beautiful FOs between June and August. Let’s revisit them!

Quick Tip: Navigating in The Knitalong Hub

Coming to you today with a quick tip for navigating all the fun you’ll find over in The Knitalong Hub! I always find there’s a bit of a learning curve when I encounter a new or updated system … it’s like you have to build up muscle memory to know where to click to achieve what you want! I’ve had the benefit of hanging out at The Knitalong Hub since we started testing it last autumn. I realised the other day that I’ve developed some muscle memory when it comes to quickly navigating around our online forum and that it might be helpful to share that with those who are newer to the site!

The Joy of Learning with Friends + Getting Started at The Knitalong Hub

Learning something new can be really fun but also, it can be hard! Even armed with clear instructions and tutorials, sometimes it just takes a couple of tries to really get a new skill. And a bit of camaraderie can really help you through the hard bits. Which is why we set up our online forum, The Knitalong Hub, where our monthly Confident Knitting knitalongs will be hosted. The first one will be kicking off this Monday, 1st March, and we’ve put together a short video tutorial walking you through the quick and easy process of creating your free account + have put together a few tips.

Introducing: The Knitalong Hub!

It may have seemed a bit quiet around here lately, but that’s because there has been a lot happening behind the scenes! We’ve been in the midst of an office move and beavering away on a special collection (more on that soon) as well as our next Big Book (you’ll have to wait a little longer to hear about that …). In between all these things, we’ve also been at work on a project that I’m super excited to share with you today: a brand new, all-our-very-own forum space: The Knitalong Hub!
