Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques goes on sale next Thursday (7th February 2019) and the following products will be available…
Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques – costs £30.00 which includes worldwide shipping – Starting on 1st March 2019 you will receive a digital photo tutorial and pattern file each month that will teach you a new skill to boost your knitting. Each pattern will also be accompanied by a video tutorial so that you have total confidence in exploring new knitting techniques. Every month a knitalong to celebrate that technique will run in our Ravelry group, and the projects are all carefully designed to be achievable within a month. The programme will run through to February 2020, with the videos and knitalongs happening each month. Boost Your Knitting also includes an exclusive 10% discount off products from our online shop (excluding kits). This discount is valid until 1st September 2019 and can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. As well as all of this digital content, you will also receive a print copy of Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques, and these will be shipped in September 2019. This product must be ordered on its own without any other items.

The Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques digital programme, print book, and all four seasonal kits. Each seasonal kit includes the yarn required for three months' worth of projects, and your kits will be shipped to arrive in good time for the start of the monthly knitalongs. Boost Your Knitting
No question is too small, and if you are wondering about something then the chances are that someone else is too, so please do ask away in those spaces as it helps everyone. I will compile any frequently asked questions here on our website later in the week. In the meantime here are a few questions that I’ve already thought about…
Q: Do I need to have worked through all the projects in A Year of Techniques before I join Boost Your Knitting?
A: No, absolutely not. Boost Your Knitting will provide you with the tutorials you require for all the projects. That said, a couple of the techniques we featured last time may come in useful, and we will include links to those video tutorials as it’s relevant. You could just as easily work through A Year of Techniques after Boost Your Knitting, or at the same time, or never. It’s all good!
Q: How will my digital content be delivered?
A: When you purchase Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques there will be a link at the order confirmation page, after you have checked out, that allows you to add the product directly to your Ravelry library. We found last time that it was far easier for knitters to access their patterns and tutorials via Ravelry, so we will be using that for digital pattern access. If you don’t have a Ravelry account it is straightforward and free to set one up: Join Ravelry here.
Q: Can I purchase an ebook only version of Boost Your Knitting?
A: This is not possible at this time, as it causes confusion over which product has been purchased.
Q: Why does the print book come after six months instead of at the end of the year?
A: We need to deliver the product you have purchased within a reasonable time frame, and providing the book at the halfway point is a compromise between preserving the monthly knitalongs and excitement of revealing the designs, against keeping things manageable with people changing addresses and holding your money.
Q: When can I find out which techniques you will be covering in Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques?
A: We will be revealing the techniques next Tuesday (5th February 2019) here on the blog.
Q: Who are the designers for Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques?
A: We will be revealing the A-MAZING list of designers we are working with when we go on sale next Thursday (7th February 2019). There will be an announcement here on the blog, and the product pages in the shop will be updated too.
Q: Do I need to join right now?
A: You can join in at any time. Indeed, you can purchase the print edition of Boost Your Knitting at any point in the future and work through the projects. But if you want the full experience of learning alongside a supportive group of knitters and the shared endeavour of growing your skills, then it’s definitely best to jump right in at the start.
Q: Do I need to complete all the projects in Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques? Do I need to work through Boost Your Knitting in the correct order?
A: No. Each project is designed to be self-contained, but there are projects that re-use some of the earlier techniques. So you can choose whether to work through all of them, or whether to pick and choose the techniques or designs that interest you the most. The photo tutorials are all there to be referred to, so you can use them as you wish.
Q: My local yarn shop is interested in Boost Your Knitting, can they sell the programme?
A: Print copies of Boost Your Knitting will be available to purchase wholesale from our distributor, Chester Wool Company, in September 2019. Prior to that, Boost Your Knitting is only available as a digital programme with accompanying print book, direct from us, Arnall-Culliford Knitwear.
