Something to Knit Together Pattern Drop: The Togetherness Shawl

Let me introduce you to the Togetherness Shawl, the fourth and final pattern from our Something to Knit Together eBook. Where has the time gone?!

With this two-colour shawl, Sarah Hatton has once again designed something that’s as fun to knit as it is to wear. Cast on at its widest point, the shawl is worked in alternating bands of colour, lace and texture that will have you itching to finish “just one more” section; regular decreases also mean your rows are constantly getting shorter. Integrated i-cord edging (we love i-cord!) gives a crisp and clean finish. The result is an attractive asymmetrical shawl with plenty of interest - it looks great no matter how you wrap it!

Knit up in Something to Knit With 4ply, the shawl requires three skeins of Shade A and two of Shade B — the absolute last of our own 4ply yarn is up over in the online shop, and there are some fun colour combinations still to be had! This design would also knit up nicely in Coop Knits Socks Yeah! 4ply, or any 4ply yarn with good stitch definition and a bit of drape — you’ll need approximately 150 grams of one colour and 100 grams of another. Or, if you fancy a shawl of many colours, this could be a really fun scrap busting project!
