The Fond Mittens have a cabled cuff that is worked as a single strip, before the wrist stitches are picked up along the edge and the rest of the mitten is worked perpendicular to the cuff. Here is a video tutorial to walk you through the process of picking up stitches.

Unite Sweater

The Unite Sweater is worked separately as back, front and sleeves, making it a really portable knitting project. The set-in sleeves give a classic, fitted look to this versatile sweater. The following three video tutorials will walk you through all of the finishing required for this beauty of a sweater.

Reunite Cardigan

The Reunite Cardigan uses the same basic construction as the Unite Sweater, and the tutorial videos are the same. Rather than a single front piece, the left and right fronts are worked, then stitches are picked up for the neckband, followed by the front bands.

Huddle hat

The final design in the Something to Knit Together Winter Edition eBook is the Huddle Hat. This cosy hat with a folded brim is knitted first as the cabled trim strip, then stitches are picked up along one edge, before the turn back is completed with a rib, basket weave pattern. The remainder of the hat is then knitted on larger needles before being seamed.
